WINCHESTER DENTAL IMPLANT & SEDATION CENTER
Dental implants, start to finish, under one roof.
Surgery, your new teeth, and the lab that makes them — all in one Winchester center, led by the region’s only double board-certified dentist: Diplomate in Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID) and Board Certified in General Dentistry (ABGD). No referrals between offices. No mystery pricing. No judgment about how long it’s been.
The difference
One doctor. One roof. One bill.
At most offices, implants mean two practices: a surgeon places the implant, then sends you back to your dentist for the teeth — two schedules, two treatment plans, two bills that don’t talk to each other. Here, Dr. Oestervemb plans your case, places your implants (routinely fully guided, planned in 3D), and delivers your final teeth himself — with our on-site lab and its two full-time technicians crafting them about forty feet from your chair.
The dentist other dentists learn from.
Board certification in implant dentistry (ABOI/ID) isn’t a weekend course — it’s years of documented cases and examination before a national board, and it’s held by no one else in Winchester. Dr. Oestervemb holds it alongside a second board certification in general dentistry, and serves as faculty for the AAID Implant MaxiCourse, where practicing dentists spend ten months learning implant surgery from him. When your case is complex, you want the person who teaches the class.
Real prices, published.
We’re the only implant center in this market that puts numbers on its website. You’ll find honest ranges below and a complete cost guide — because a $20,000 decision deserves better than “call for pricing.”
What implants cost here — real ranges, no games
| Single tooth, complete (implant + abutment + crown) | $3,500 – $5,500 |
| Snap-in implant denture (implants + denture, per arch) | $15,000 – $20,000 |
| Full-arch fixed teeth — All-on-4 / All-on-6 (per arch, complete) | $20,000 – $32,000 |
Your exact number comes from a free consultation that includes a 3D CBCT scan — the same scan other offices charge hundreds for. You leave with a complete written quote. Financing through Cherry, CareCredit, Proceed, and LendingClub breaks most treatment into monthly payments.
Who we help
One missing tooth — A permanent tooth that never comes out at night, without grinding down the healthy teeth beside it.
Several missing or failing teeth — Implant bridges that rebuild a whole section, planned in 3D.
Tired of loose dentures — Snap-in stability or fixed teeth; either way, dentures stop being the boss of your dinner.
A whole new smile — All-on-4 / All-on-6: a full arch of fixed teeth, often placed in a single day.
Told you’re not a candidate? — Bone grafting, sinus lifts, and second opinions on cases other offices turned away.
Haven’t seen a dentist in years? — You will not get a lecture here. You’ll get sedation options up to fully asleep, and a fresh start.
Dr. Niels Oestervemb, DDS, MSc — Double Board-Certified (ABOI/ID + ABGD)
Valedictorian of his dental class, fellowship-trained in implant surgery and IV sedation at the University of Iowa (where he then taught for four years), Dr. Oestervemb has practiced since 2010 and earned the American Board of Oral Implantology’s Diplomate credential — the highest board certification in implant dentistry, and the only one in Winchester. Patients travel from out of state for his full-arch work; local dentists attend his courses to learn the techniques he uses every week. He’s also a husband and father of three who chose Winchester on purpose — and who believes nobody should be quoted twenty thousand dollars by someone who won’t publish a single price.
How it works
1 — Free consult + 3D scan (60 min). We image your jaw in 3D, look at everything together on the big screen, and talk honestly about options — including the option of doing nothing. You leave with a written, complete quote — and a video preview of your new smile, generated from your own photo and sent to your email. No cost, no obligation, no hard sell.
2 — A plan built in 3D, teeth built in-house. Your surgery is planned digitally before you’re ever in the chair, with surgical guides and your new teeth produced by our on-site lab. Sedation options from mild to fully asleep, including IV sedation by Dr. Oestervemb (certified since 2010) and general anesthesia with a licensed anesthesiologist.
3 — Your teeth, delivered by the same doctor who planned them. One team follows you from first scan to final bite check — and for many full-arch patients, fixed teeth are placed the same day as surgery.
If fear kept you away, you’re exactly who we built this for.
Most of our full-arch patients waited years longer than they wanted to — not because of money, but because of dread. That’s why sedation isn’t an add-on here; it’s half our name. From calming oral sedation to IV sedation to full general anesthesia with a licensed anesthesiologist in our center, most patients tell us the same thing afterward: “That was nothing like I feared.”
Frequently asked questions
First, the big ones — Dr. Oestervemb busts the most common implant myths in two minutes:
How much do dental implants cost in Winchester, VA?
A complete single implant runs $3,500–$5,500 here; full-arch fixed teeth run $20,000–$32,000 per arch, complete. We publish full ranges on our cost page and give exact written quotes after a free 3D scan consult.
Does the free consultation really include a 3D CBCT scan?
Yes — the scan, the doctor’s evaluation, a complete written quote, and a free AI smile simulation with a video of your new smile emailed to you. It’s the only responsible way to price implant treatment, so we don’t charge for any of it.
What makes a “board-certified implant dentist” different?
ABOI/ID Diplomate status requires years of documented implant cases plus written and oral examination by a national board. Most dentists offering implants hold no implant board certification. Dr. Oestervemb is the only ABOI/ID Diplomate in Winchester — and is double board-certified, also holding ABGD certification in general dentistry.
I’ve been told I don’t have enough bone. Is that final?
Often not. Bone grafting, sinus lifts, and full-arch techniques like All-on-4 were developed precisely for low-bone cases. Second opinions are a normal part of our week — bring your existing scan or take a fresh one free.
Can you really do everything in one place?
Yes — consultation, 3D planning, fully guided surgery, sedation up to general anesthesia, and the fabrication of your final teeth in our on-site lab with two full-time technicians. One doctor and one team from first scan to final bite.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes — through Cherry, CareCredit, Proceed, and LendingClub, most patients pay monthly. We’ll show you exact terms at your consult, and our team verifies your insurance benefits before treatment.
Guessing is free. So is knowing.
One appointment. One 3D scan. One honest, complete number — and a video of your future smile in your inbox. Zero pressure about what you do with any of it.
